Privacy summary: SmartCalc works offline and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. Calculation history and preferences remain on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains how JP Multitools Studio (“we”, “us”, or
“our”) handles information when you use the
SmartCalc application (the “App”), identified on
Android as com.jpmultitoolsstudio.smartcalc.
1. Information We Collect
SmartCalc does not require an account and does not collect personal information. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise locations, contacts, financial account details, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers.
Values entered into calculators are processed locally on your device. They are not sent to JP Multitools Studio or to a remote server.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App may store the following information locally:
- Calculation history and results;
- Favourite calculators;
- Theme and haptic-feedback preferences; and
- Other settings required to remember your choices.
This information remains on your device. You can remove calculation history using the App’s history controls. You can remove all locally stored App data by clearing the App’s storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
3. PDF Reports and Sharing
SmartCalc can generate PDF calculation reports on your device. A report is shared only when you select the share option and choose a destination through your device’s system share menu.
The receiving application or service you select may process the shared file under its own privacy policy. JP Multitools Studio does not receive a copy of the report.
4. Internet Access, Analytics, and Advertising
SmartCalc is designed as an offline calculator toolkit. The App does not include advertising SDKs, analytics services, behavioural tracking, or cloud accounts. Currency conversion uses exchange rates entered manually by the user and does not retrieve live financial data.
Google Play and your operating-system provider may independently process information related to downloading, installing, updating, security, crash diagnostics, or store usage. Their handling of such information is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Permissions
SmartCalc only uses device capabilities needed for features you request, such as haptic feedback and the system share menu. The App does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or financial accounts.
6. Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information. Because the App does not collect personal information, we have no personal information to provide to third parties.
7. Data Security
Keeping calculations on the device reduces remote-data risks. However, no device or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and should avoid entering sensitive information on a compromised or shared device.
8. Children’s Privacy
SmartCalc is a general-purpose utility and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.
9. Financial and Tax Disclaimer
Calculations are estimates provided for informational purposes only. SmartCalc does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or medical advice. Results may differ from those of lenders, employers, government authorities, or other providers due to fees, rounding, changing rules, and calculation methods.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
